A private catalogue and publishing tool · operated by Nick Brennan / MU Media
Tripswitch CP is an internal tool used to manage the back catalogue of the electronic music artist Tripswitch and to publish video from it to the artist’s own YouTube channel.
What it does
- Holds the catalogue — releases, tracks, masters and artwork — in a local database.
- Renders video assets from that catalogue locally: static art cards and motion pieces.
- Uploads finished videos to the Tripswitch YouTube channel, and records which upload corresponds to which catalogue entry.
Scope
The application is not a public service. It has no sign-up and no user accounts, it is not distributed, and it runs on its operator’s own computer. It acts on a single YouTube channel — the operator’s own — and uploads only recordings the operator owns.
YouTube API Services
Tripswitch CP uses YouTube API Services to upload video and to read back the status of videos it has uploaded. It does not read, collect or display other people’s YouTube data. By using the application you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Tripswitch CP is operated by Nick Brennan / MU Media, United Kingdom.
